A personal rebrand for Casa Mono, my favorite New York tapas restaurant. Despite being a long standing Michelin starred spot, the restaurant has a cozy, almost street like charm. Inspired by the name Casa Mono, meaning Monkey House in Spanish, the identity expresses this warm and playful spirit through hand drawn monkey illustrations and an editorial approach. The color palette is drawn from key ingredients and wine, grounding the identity in Casa Mono’s dining experience.












The custom logotype reflects the monkey concept through playful, organic letterforms and is designed to feel cohesive with the monkey illustrations. Soft curves and slight irregularities give it a lively, character driven feel, allowing both the type and imagery to share the same visual language.
